Coconut oil makes a good oil-based lube if you’re not using protection or toys. It’s also an antifungal.

To people with vaginas, check your reaction to Coconut oil first as not everyone takes well to it. Do the same check if using it anally.

I would also like to — WITH MANY CAVEATS! — recommend the use of olive oil. It lasts forever, and the ride is *amazing*. All the friction is the soft and loving variety, meaning that you and your lover(s) can go as hard and long as you *want*. However, it will *destroy* your latex barriers, and that means it’s a no-go if you’re big on gloves or condoms. 

Unless, of course, you have a supply of *nitrile* gloves. 

Now, I used to hate nitrile — I found it to be too rough, too thick, and too deadening-of-sensitivity — from both sides — but olive oil? Makes all the problems go bye-bye.
